The Last Nutcracker

In that Christmas week, Clara Stahlbaum received a nutcracker doll from her godfather, Christian Elias Drosselmeyer. However, she could have never expected the turn of events such gift would bring her. Her house got invaded by a hoard of mice, her nutcracker doll came to life and she got cursed by the dangerous Mouse King.
The young lady and the living nutcracker will have to embark in an adventurous yet dangerous journey through the doll’s homeland, the Doll Kingdom, to defeat the Mouse King and break their curses.

“The Last Nutcracker” is my own interpretation of the classic story written by E.T.A. Hoffmann, “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”.
At the moment the project is in the drafting stage, but I’m planning to realize a comic out of it.
